Retreat, Reflect and Restart from your Entrepreneurial Failure

SUMMARY

I began by asking why failure rarely helps entrepreneurs succeed later. Through research and interviews, I found a lack of pause and comfortable spaces for entrepreneurs to organize and reflect on their past experiences. Thus, I designed a guided retreat and reflection trip program to help entrepreneurs process failure with community support and long-term tools, turning painful endings into meaningful new beginnings.

challenge

I identified that failed entrepreneurs are pressured to fail over and over without a period to deeply reflect and rebuild between two ventures. They lack emotional safety, accessible tools, and supportive communities. Existing solutions focus on strategy, sharing, talking, not healing and reflecting through peer support. This gap limits learning, leading to rushed, repeated mistakes.

Outcome

The Reflection Retreat Tour is a 3-day immersive experience designed to help failed entrepreneurs pause, process, and prepare before rushing into their next venture. Set in a calming, nature-based location, the retreat blends wellness practices like meditation and journaling with peer storytelling circles and theatrical role-play exercises. It's about slowing down, reflecting on what went wrong, and reconnecting with one’s values and self-worth. Participants gain emotional clarity, renewed confidence, and a personalized toolkit (in both digital and physical formats) to support their post-retreat growth.
