SUMMARY
Chilewich does not leverage the durability of its products as its most substantial sustainability claim. So, we visually communicated it for consumers to collectively maximize performance and minimize environmental impact. #CleanChilewich consists of physical, upcycled product care cards accompanied by a QR code which leads to the website. The mobile website consists of educational information on product longevity and how-to videos. These videos are intended for Instagram and the new TikTok account. Lastly, we envisioned how our campaign would live as a window display in Chilewich’s retail stores and in NYC’s Subway Stations.

challenge
After contemplating over which idea to execute, we finally decided to proceed with the most realistic and practical one for the company. One of the biggest challenges was to communicate all the information about product maintenance and sustainability in both a visual and practical way in our product care cards. We constantly had to implement the weekly feedback and think of creative ways to improve our design.
Outcome
Our final deliverable aims for 5 major impacts that will benefit the company & the consumers: 1. To improve communication on how to better maintain the product. 2. To minimize their environmental impact by extending the longevity of their products. 3. Chilewich will receive less complaints and maintenance requests that could be tackled by consumers. 4. Consumers will keep their products longer and Chilewich can use defective products or waste to create the cards. 5. Finally, proper product maintenance will result to higher durability
