The ongoing conflict in Gaza has impacted thousands of lives fueling my passion for humanitarian justice. My research aimed to address this pressing issue, uncovering countless challenges affecting Palestinians caught in the crossfire.

Through my research, I connected with stakeholders directly impacted by the war uncovering countless challenges. Faced with many issues but limited as one individual, I chose to focus on the urgent amputee crisis. In Gaza, an alarming 10 children lose limbs daily due to war-related injuries. This heartbreaking reality underscores the critical need to develop solutions that can bring hope and aid to future generations.
Outcome
I grappled with the challenge of creating a meaningful solution within the constraints of a war-torn reality. I developed a rehabilitation guide designed to empower amputees and their communities. Despite the destruction around them, communities remain a source of strength. This guide leverages that resilience offering practical support where formal resources are scarce. I aim to propose this guide as part of a humanitarian care package providing vital aid and hope to those most in need.
