SUMMARY
 

Build-A-Buyer allows designers to create their own personas. I began by exploring attention span and engagment marketing. I found a lot of surface level advice to be "authentic", but had trouble figuring out how to do that. Through my primary research process, I learned that people are weirdos, but that they don't feel that brands see them that way. Build-A-Buyer is a response to that disconnection. Marketers can generate truly random personas, that don't align with stereotypes or biases.

I realized that marketers can struggle to successfully identify complex and plausible untapped consumers, instead relying on obvious target audiences.

Outcome
 

The project is an HTML website. People can use it for free, easily and effortlessly. The digital format is meant to be an easy way to include the tool into your workflow. A user selects the categories that they would like included and then presses shuffle.
