I identified several key stakeholder needs, gaps, and opportunities. Consumers seek convenience, high-quality additive-free tequila, and a unique drinking experience. The RTD tequila market is growing, yet lacks products that blend cultural education and interactive entertainment. Local Mexican producers face challenges competing with mass-produced celebrity brands. By integrating premium tequila cocktails with a game board celebrating Mexican culture, Cajita y Tragos fills these gaps, offering a unique product that connects consumers with authenticity while preserving tequila’s heritage.
Outcome
The project evolved into Cajita y Tragos, a boxed set of four premium tea-infused tequila canned cocktails paired with an integrated board game. This design addresses stakeholder needs by offering convenience, quality, and a unique, interactive experience. The game educates players on tequila-making and Mexican culture, filling the market gap for RTD products that go beyond just a drink. By partnering with authentic Mexican producers, the project also supports preserving tequila’s heritage, meeting both consumer demand and the need for authenticity in the industry.
