SUMMARY

We set out to solve a common frustration for users 40 and up: there’s no stylish, functional way to keep reading glasses close while on the move. Readers are often scratched, misplaced, or hard to access. Through interviews and user research, we discovered a clear need for a dedicated, on-the-go storage solution. Our result is a sleek crossbody bag designed to protect and carry glasses—making daily routines easier while blending practicality with style.

challenge

We identified key gaps for users 40+: misplacing glasses, carrying bulky cases, scratching frames on collars, and struggling to access readers on the go. Many lacked a hands-free, stylish solution that kept eyewear secure yet easily reachable. Our product addresses these needs by creating a dedicated, protective space for glasses—balancing form and function while reducing daily friction.

Outcome

The project took the form of a compact, crossbody bag tailored to users 40+. After multiple iterations and user testing, we refined the design to include exterior buckles for quick access to glasses, a tray-table-style opening for use while at rest, and a sleek black leather finish for versatility. These features directly address users’ need for accessibility, protection, and style—offering a seamless, hands-free solution for keeping readers secure and within reach.
