NAVI transforms career exploration into an engaging, personalized experience. Inspired by the shared struggles of students navigating career uncertainty, I designed a gamified app that adapts to individual goals and interests. NAVI combines personality assessments, real-world opportunities, and professional networks into a single platform, turning career growth into a rewarding journey. Through testing and user feedback, I refined its reaftures to address gaps in traditional resources. NAVI empowers students to explore confidently, fostering lifelong adaptability and success.

I identified significant gaps in traditional career resources, such as advisors and job boards, which often fail to meet the unique needs of students. Interviews with students revealed that they feel overwhelmed by generic guidance, pressured to make quick decisions, and unsure how to balance exploration with other responsibilities. This limits their ability to navigate their careers confidently. The key opportunity was to reframe career exploration as a personalized, ongoing journey. In order to address these needs, NAVI creates an engaging platform that bridges the gap between traditional tools and students' real-world challenges.
Outcome
NAVI evolved into a gamified career exploration app designed to empower students in making confident, informed decisions. It addresses gaps in existing resources by combining personalized guidance, engaging game mechanics, and practical tools into a single platform. Users create custom profiles, complete real-world quests, and gain achievements as they progress toward their career goals.
