Rate My Influencer began as a response to the growing need for transparency in influencer marketing. Through researching user behaviors and conducting interviews, I discovered that many consumers struggle to distinguish between authentic and promotional content, often leading to impulsive purchases and dissatisfaction. My platform addresses this by offering verified reviews and ratings, empowering users to make informed decisions while fostering trust and accountability in the influencer ecosystem.

Through research and interviews, I identified key challenges in influencer marketing: consumers face difficulty distinguishing authentic content from promotional material, leading to impulsive buying and dissatisfaction. Influencers struggle with balancing transparency and brand expectations, while brands risk damaging trust through inauthentic partnerships. These gaps highlight an opportunity to create a platform that fosters trust, empowers informed decision-making, and encourages ethical practices in the influencer ecosystem.

Outcome
 

The project resulted in the creation of "Rate My Influencer," a platform designed to enhance transparency in influencer marketing. It directly addresses stakeholder needs by allowing consumers to access verified reviews and ratings, helping them make informed decisions. Influencers benefit from tools to build credibility through ethical practices, while brands can identify trusted partners to improve consumer trust. This platform fills market gaps by promoting authenticity and reducing impulsive buying driven by misleading content.
