My project addresses this by designing a multifunctional table that transforms into a stable, double-triangle shelter during earthquakes. It includes an SOS button, built-in lighting, and storage for emergency supplies. An instructional storyboard guides users on earthquake safety, ensuring even the unfamiliar are prepared. This table combines safety and education, making earthquake preparedness accessible and seamlessly integrated into daily life.

The project challenges included: an opportunity to create furniture that provides both physical protection and educational support, the fact that earthquakes can strike without warning, and many individuals lack the knowledge needed to respond effectively and that most home furniture provides little to noprotection in emergencies, which the tablesbeing central and provide stability, and clear instructions reduce uncertainty, as well as the need for a strong, stable structure, such as the triangle shape, offers the best protection against falling debris.
