SUMMARY
We set out to help The Jewelry Library expand its visibility and cultural reach through a strategic partnership with Olympia Le-Tan. The result is The Book of Jewels, a limited-edition jewelry collection housed in embroidered book clutches, each containing a story, a piece, and a ritual. We developed a full concept, product prototype, launch plan, and marketing strategy that positions jewelry as not just wearable—but readable, giftable, and unforgettable.
challenge
One of the main challenges of this collaboration was how to merge two distinct yet conceptually rich brands—Olympia Le-Tan and The Jewelry Library—into a unified product. We needed to preserve Olympia Le-Tan’s iconic book-shaped embroidery while translating The Jewelry Library’s intricate, story-driven jewelry into visual narratives. Additionally, instead of using existing book covers, we had to create original titles and illustrations inspired by jewelry pieces, all while avoiding IP issues and maintaining both brands' artistic integrity.
Outcome
Our final concept is a collaborative product and retail experience called The Book of Jewels. It includes a curated piece of jewelry embedded inside an Olympia Le-Tan embroidered book clutch, complete with a story booklet. This format directly addresses The Jewelry Library’s need for visibility, retail impact, and narrative engagement—offering a collectible, luxurious, and emotionally resonant product for new and existing audiences.
