I investigated how unpaid fashion internships have negative impacts on college students and young adults. There are different problems with this system, but my approach was looking into how it is a financial burden on people. This leads to a lack of diversity in fashion internships, individuals having to decline jobs due to lack of compensation, and overall creates an exploitative industry.
