SUMMARY

This project started with my own frustration of buying clothes online that never fit the way they looked on the model. I developed FITR, an AI-powered fit-profile that matches you with a real model closest to your body and guides you to the right size across brands. With FITR you can virtually try on different sizes of an item on your model to see how it will fit. Through research and prototyping, I uncovered how inconsistent and exclusionary sizing truly is. FITR aims to make online shopping more accurate, intuitive, and confidence-building for everyone.

challenge

I identified major gaps across shoppers, brands, and retailers. Shoppers feel frustrated by inconsistent sizing and want guidance they can trust. Brands face rising return costs and little insight into how different bodies actually fit their products. Retailers struggle to offer personalization at scale. Through interviews, surveys, and testing, these needs became clear: accuracy, confidence, and data. The opportunity is a unified fit system that supports all stakeholders.

Outcome

The project evolved into a unified fit-profile that integrates AI model matching, personalized size guidance, and cross-brand consistency. It directly responds to shopper needs for accuracy and confidence, while giving brands and retailers valuable fit data to reduce returns. This outcome fills a key market gap: no existing tool connects users to a body-similar model and provides seamless, universal fit predictions across every brand they shop.
