SUMMARY
Inner Arcana explores how teens can use spirituality for meaning-making. Divination has been a way for me to explore my sense of self as a practice that builds emotional language and intuition. Other teens feel the same way, but the current methods lack grounding and credibility. The Make Your Own Tarot kit is a psychology-informed, creative tool that lets teens design their own symbols. It offers a safe, reflective way to explore identity and wellbeing.
challenge
I found that teens want tools for self-awareness that feel authentic, creative, and nonjudgmental. Many are curious about spirituality but are skeptical of misinformation. Parents, educators, and therapists want safe, psychologically informed resources for youth. The opportunity lies in combining symbolic exploration with reflective practice, offering teens a structured yet flexible way to build emotional language and identity insight.
Outcome
The project became a Make Your Own Tarot Kit that blends creativity, psychology, and spirituality. Teens design their own deck using guided prompts rooted in self-reflection. This format fills a market gap between pop spirituality and clinical tools by offering a grounded, safe, and engaging way for teens to explore identity, emotional awareness, and meaning-making without relying on mysticism or misinformation.
