SUMMARY
Modern Outlet has rare access to authenticated luxury furniture and brand partners, but customers need more context and confidence to buy. This project began by mapping that access into two connected strategies: a Personal Sourcing Concierge and a Professional Membership Program. Together, they turn inventory access into a clearer shopping experience, stronger customer relationships, and new revenue streams.
challenge
We identified three key gaps: customers struggle to confidently purchase fragmented, high-value inventory online; designers lack a dedicated reason to return, source faster, and buy in bundles; and Modern Outlet’s brand access is not yet fully translated into scalable demand. The opportunity is to use people, product, and current tools to create trust, improve conversion, and capture first-party demand data.
Outcome
The project became Modern Access: a cohesive strategy combining a Personal Sourcing Concierge with a Professional Membership Program. The concierge addresses customer uncertainty by turning vague searches into curated inventory matches with clear context. The membership program gives designers full catalog access, priority sourcing, and incentives to return and buy in bundles. Together, they improve trust, conversion, repeat demand, and revenue growth.
