SUMMARY
I have experience on multiple professional film sets working within the art department and discovered how broken the prop acquisition process is.
challenge
I identified the stakeholders as filmmakers working on a limited budget who are restricted by the necessary resources to acquire props for their projects. The opportunity was to provide them with a budget friendly option as well as a forum to ask questions they may have.
Outcome
Through my research I created Wright Props, an online prop marketplace with a built in forum to emphasize community within the film industry.
