SUMMARY
Lalo is on a mission to create lasting relationships with families by embedding our trusted baby products into the heart of communities: local daycares. This collaboration involves gifting our high-quality products to selected NYC daycares, driving visibility and trust with parents.
challenge
Our stakeholders are parents of children aged 1 month to 3 years seeking products that blend form and function by understanding the emotional factors behind purchasing baby products. We identified an opportunity to reshape Lalo's image while building consumer trust, which is stylish and practical, coupled with a need for emotional reassurance in their choices. By addressing these gaps, we saw an opportunity to position Lalo as a brand parents trust for their child’s well-being and style: emotional connection and functional value drive lasting. We additionally decided to tap into the neurodiverse children's market, emphasizing Lalo's unique safety features and overall consideration that goes into every product.
Outcome
The project evolved into a focused rollout plan centered on the Lalo X NYC Daycares prototype, supported by elements from the other three concepts. This approach directly addresses stakeholders' needs by embedding our trusted products into local communities, building trust and visibility. Insights from interviews with parents of neurodiverse children, doctors, and industry professionals highlighted a gap in inclusive baby products. By addressing emotional and practical needs, we created a strategy that supports diverse families while positioning Lalo as a reliable and community-driven brand.
