SUMMARY

Lalo will host a mom-and-children café music event in Target creating a fun, engaging atmosphere where customers can try out Lalo’s high chairs and play kits. While enjoying live music and refreshments, parents can play games interact with the products in a social setting with their children. After their experience, attendees will have the opportunity to purchase Lalo products on-site and receive a “music event coupon” offering 10% off their first purchase.

challenge

For the Lalo event, key stakeholder needs and opportunities were identified. Parents seek safe, functional, and stylish furniture but struggle to visualize products in their homes. The "try-before-buy" experience addresses this gap, boosting confidence and driving sales. Lalo aims to expand its reach and educate parents on product benefits. Partnering with Target presents an opportunity to increase visibility and engage a broader customer base. Target needs to differentiate its baby furniture section. The event provides a unique experience to attract more foot traffic and increase conversions.

Outcome

The project took the shape of a "try-before-buy" marketing event, where parents could experience Lalo’s baby furniture in a real-life setting. This directly addresses the need for parents to confidently assess the products’ fit and functionality. By partnering with Target, the event also offered an opportunity to boost Lalo’s visibility and educate parents on the brand’s benefits. The experiential format helped Target differentiate its baby furniture section and attract more engaged customers, addressing gaps in both customer experience and product awareness in the market.
