SUMMARY
Before embarking on the entire project, the first thing that came to mind was the relationship between my cat and me. Considering my cat's needs and the limited time I could spend with hime daily, I designed a solution to balance personal life while ensuring optimal pet care. Thus, I created a product line featuring controllable toys and health monitors to track pets' wellbeing easily. With Nuzzle Sphere, owners can interact with their pets online from anywhere, consolidating all essential features into one convenient app. From personalized health monitor to custom plan, Nuzzle Sphere is your partner in ensuring your pet's wellbeing.
challenge
Researching current trends and pet owners' preferences revealed that Gen Z and Millennials, the primary pet owners, are increasingly inclined to use pet apps, especially after COVID-19. However, there is a large numerous of existing pet apps offer various functions, I pondered how to offer a superior solution. Addressing the challenge of meeting pet owners' evolving demands led me to develop an integrated and efficient pet app. This app encompasses comprehensive online interaction and real-time health monitoring, enabling customers to promptly detect their pet's health status.
Outcome
Based on personal experiences and U.S. pet owners' concerns, I developed an integrated pet product collection which can solve the problem when owners cannot take care of pets when they are not at home. It includes a multifunction controllable toy, offering features like stretching, deformation, and sound effects to engage pets and motivate both owners and pets. Additionally, a health monitor collar serves as a wearable device, continuously capturing pets' health status and emotions, and sending notifications to owners when they're excited to play. These physical products are connected and controlled through a dedicated app, providing customers with comprehensive insights into their pets' wellbeing, including health and emotions.
