challenge
Through extensive research and engagement with the artistic community, I identified several key stakeholder needs, gaps, and opportunities. Firstly, there's a clear gap in providing artists with a dedicated space for meaningful connections and collaborations outside traditional networking events. Many artists expressed a desire for authentic interactions beyond superficial networking. Additionally, there's an opportunity to address the decline of third spaces in NYC, where artists can connect and network organically. By creating curated dinner events, I aim to fill this gap, offering artists a platform to build genuine relationships and foster creativity.
Outcome
The project took shape as a series of curated dinner events designed to provide artists with a "third space" for authentic connections and collaborations. By hosting these events at various locations across NYC, partnering with diverse venues and artists, we directly address the observed need for meaningful interactions outside traditional networking settings. The outcome facilitates organic networking opportunities, fostering genuine relationships among artists and bridging the gap in the market for dedicated spaces where artists can connect and thrive creatively.
