Our team was tasked with helping Chilewich embrace their values while promoting their commitment to sustainability and eco-conscious practices' more effectively to their consumers. Chilewich Pet is designed to meet these needs, promoting innovative and sustainable waste solutions that work to enhance brand image, while reducing environmental impact and creating additional revenue streams. We believe that eco-friendly initiatives and design innovations such as Chilewich Pet will help Chilewich and other companies alike to restructure their already strong brand image to remain a competitive player in the market and a leader in sustainability.

Challenges for our group arose at various point across our research and development process. Notably for our group meeting an getting run quotes and making prototypes of our toys with artisans in the garment district proved to be a new but exciting experience for us. Some rejected our product but we worked until we found someone who also connected with our vision. It turned out to be one of the most important part, ultimately helping us to prove that our product can also be financially competitive in the existing market as well.
Chilewich Pet provides one of the most aesthetically attractive pet toy options available, using material which is free of harmful chemicals recommended as a safer choice for pets by veterinarians across the country. The brand extension works to increasing customers awareness of Chilewich's sustainability efforts while creating a profitable revenue stream from existing waste.
