Finding Your Caddis Persona
An online personality test that builds on the Caddis brand and customer experience
Caddis embraces an anti anti-aging messaging and lifestyle that inspires its customers to stay wild, fun, and creative. Caddis needs a way to expand their community in a way that builds brand awareness and experience for both new and existing customers. So we decided to build out a cohesive personality test that asks behavioral and lifestyle questions of Caddis’ customers. The final test result hopes to personalize the profile space at Caddis and create community through connecting other Caddis members who may be of the same personality type. What we hope to achieve is a strategic initiative that engages Caddis customers and community.

Some of the challenges we had to overcome was our first approach in creating the personality test. With Caddis’ age demographic being 40 and up, we didn’t have much experience working with that age range. So we had to brainstorm what would appeal to that specific audience. Along with asking the right questions, we had to design our personality test to keep users’ focus and interest all while keeping a consistent branding. We also had to keep in mind how we can connect the test back to Caddis products. But most importantly, we needed to create a community for Caddis and their customers.
As we reached the end of our project, we understood that in order for the test to be effective it needed to remain a fun and interactive process. In order to be an asset for both Caddis and the customer the questions had to be surprising and unique. We looked at the different ways this test could be built out to achieve an experience that would spark consumer interest and loyalty. We wanted customers to go through the test and be interested enough to make them want to set up a profile and share their results with their community. The end result consists of a developed personality test and results page that hopes to resonate with Caddis target market and provide consumer insight.
